Mission Statement
‘Seals Swimming working with quality swimming schools provide safe, quality swimming lessons with an emphasis on fun as the children learn to swim. With an average 3 to 6 pupils in each class the individual child’s needs are met with plenty of praise given and if the class is inappropriate for a child then changes are made for the benefit of the pupils. Lessons are busy with a quality swimming programme being followed that has proved that children develop swimming skills quickly. Seals are looking for a child to move up at least one class level every two terms. Having a teacher and helper in the water for young and weak swimmers does help childrens' confidence and allows the confident non swimmers to swim unaided quickly. As the children progress those who have good technique are then encouraged to move onto a bigger pool’
