Rules

  • All the pools we use are well kept, clean and safe.
  • Children should all shower and go to the toilet before they enter the water, this helps to keep the pool clean and running costs down.
  • Children with heavy colds, sinusitis and ear infections are requested not to swim. Any queries with regard to further health problems please telephone us.
  • Shoes must be removed on poolside and no buggies are allowed in changing rooms or on poolside.
  • Long hair should be tied back.
  • We recommend swimming trunks for boys while they are very young or non swimmers.
  • Children may wear goggles but we reserve the right to remove them if they cause disruption of the class.
  • Please see our pool rules on the notice boards at the pools.

Safety

Our class sizes are small (6 with a maximum of 7) and a teacher is in the water with young children and beginners. Safety for all must be of paramount concern and we retain the right to remove anyone on, in or around the pool that gives us any concern whatsoever with regard to safety (child or parent). Pools are noisy and loud poolside conversations can compromise safety and we request parents do not hold these on poolside our children must be able to hear instructions and not become distracted.

Insurance

We hold full Public and Employers Liability Insurance.
